1886 April 12

Catford Cycling Club formed
on 12th April by C.P Sisley

1887 August 20

Catford CC held it's first Hill Climb competition on Westerham Hill with 24 starters, the winner S.F.Edge of Annerly BC was one of only twelve riders made it to the top, three on trikes, eight on the new safety cycles and one in fourth place on an Old Ordinary or Penny Farthing as they are known with a 54" wheel.

1894 September 10

Catford builds its own Cycle Track
on undeveloped land near Brownhill RD

1983 October 09

Phil Mason of San Fairy Ann CC set a new Course record of 1 minute 47.6 seconds on the Catford CC Hill Climb held on Yorks Hill GH/32, a record that stands to this day, only Dan Fleeman has come closest in 2007 with 1min 48.2 sec

Catford CC converts to Limited Co
status - 5 directors appointed

2019 June 23

100 mile Time Trial club record broken. Rob Bullyment breaks his own 100mile TT record in 03:45:29 riding fixed wheel taking over a minute off his previous record. Rob rode the Eastern Counties Cycling Association event on 23rd June 2019

2019 September 26

Rob Bullyment breaks the long standing 24 hour record, set by George Laws in 1952, Rob set a new figure of 484.21

2022 April 20

Catford CC Drop - Hell of the Ashdown and both Time Trials (both named after important members) - a sad day in the clubs history
